Ms. Downs has worked with a diverse client group ranging from small start-up companies to fortune 500 corporations in her 25 years of human resource experience. She is an expert at creating a values-driven culture with her clients to increase productivity, create a culture of inclusion, improve performance, boost profits and create high-performing teams. Her human resources experience and business acumen has helped leaders improve employee engagement and lower employee turnover year over year.

Ms. Downs is an expert in Human Resources specializing in employment law and legal compliance, policies and procedures development, human resources records management, recruitment and retention, training and development, succession planning, mediation, conflict resolution, executive coaching and leadership development.

She has developed several training programs for corporations including Cultural and Generational Awareness for Leaders and a Women’s Leadership Program.

Ms. Downs has a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management. She is certified as a Cultural Transformation Tools Practitioner by the Barrett Values Centre and a certified trainer by the Canfield group. She is an executive coach, keynote speaker, certified training facilitator and corporate leadership consultant. She uses the perfect blend of humor, interactive audience participation and heartfelt insightful stories to engage her audience and ensure a dynamic transformational learning experience. Her empathic and inclusive approach to facilitating builds personal rapport and gains team trust quickly.

Ms. Downs also serves on non-profit advisory boards including The Hope Mobile, a nonprofit organization dedicated to assisting those in need of a helping hand.
